     Great Location in Marais

This is a little jewel tucked away in the midst of a great area. Lots of history within walking distance, food choices galore and the train/bus super convenient to all the main attractions. Thankful for the small lift so we didn’t have to drag our luggage to the 4th floor, but the beds were comfy and most importantly – it is in a prime location!

    Charming apt with every convenience

Beautiful clean, neat apt in historic building with elevator in very central location, with exposed wooden beams, view of Paris rooftops and Pompidou Center and full kitchen.

Louis is a very responsive, attentive host who answered all my questions before I arrived, met me at the building the day I did to give me the key and show me the unit and even gave me a tour of the neighborhood.

There’s a Metro stop around the corner and plenty of grocery options and cafés half a block away.

    I’ll be back!

A PERFECT SPOT TO STAY TO ENJOY PARIS

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was in a wonderful location and Louis kindly showed us the neighbourhood to find wine, cheese, fresh fruit and vegetables, and wonderful croissants.

We felt immediately comfortable soon after arrival. Louis was consistently responsive in messages even well before we arrived. He couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming.

We had a wonderful vacation and would highly recommend this apartment.

    GREAT LOCATION – GREAT COMMUNICATION

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner (Louis) was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The property is very much as described in the listing and perfect for our stay.

We love that neighborhood, the convenience of walking anywhere, the metro so close, grocery just across the street. We were two friends visiting Paris together and both had our own space. Sleeping in the front room was very comfortable, but a bit noisier then sleeping in the bedroom – but only with the windows open. There was a fan in each room if we wanted the windows closed. We would definitely stay again.

     5 STARS GEM
Louis’ apartment, Residence Beaubourg, in the chic Marais district of Paris is a 5 star gem!
Located one block from Le Centre Pompidou it is in a neighborhood filled with excellent restaurants, boutique shops, lovely museums, and beautiful city spaces like Place des Vosges.
The apartment is very quiet and well equipped with everything you may need- fast internet, heated towel rack, comfy bed, and a well stocked kitchen.
Best of all Louis is an amazing host!  He spent time walking us around the neighborhood, answered all of our questions promptly and even refunded our damage deposit before we arrived back home!
I most highly recommend this apartment!

COMFORTABLE – CLEAN – PERFECT LOCATION FOR FAMILY WITH 2 YOUNG KIDS

Louis’ apartment worked well for us, a family of four with kids, 4 &7. There was plenty of room. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped.

The location is perfect for walking and central for metro as well. There is a small elevator we used with our 4 year old but the stairs were fine too.

We always felt safe in the area and it was surprisingly quiet when the windows were closed. Groceries and many food store are right around the corner.

I would recommend this apartment to anyone.

    PARIS IN SPRING

The apartment was very comfortable for myself, my wife, and our 18 year old grandson. It had everything we needed and a great location just about 5 blocks or so from the river at Notre Dame.

Louis was a great host and the time he spent with us at check-in touring the immediate area was very helpful.

    PERFECT : COMFORTABLE – QUIET – ROOMY

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in December. This apartment is charming, with exposed beams, wood floor, mix of hanging art, yet is modern with shower, Wi-Fi and plenty of storage.

The building houses several apartments, yet we rarely heard the neighbors. The street below is also quiet. I really enjoyed the many windows allowing fresh air to flow through the apartment and sun light to enter. The heaters were very effective in keeping the space warm during cool rainy spells. The kitchen is fully equipped, even with soap, sponges, primary seasonings and oils, good sized refrigerator and separate freezer. I especially liked the electric kettle for tea, there is also coffee/expresso equipment. There was plenty of hot hot water. The washer/dryer was a big plus. The drying on these models is slow, I suggest bumping up the time and watching it. The drying rack is huge and useful to finish drying the clothes. The bed was just the right firmness and size for two, and the sofa is comfortable for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Louis understandably insists on no shoes on the wood floor, so I suggest bringing sock slippers if your feet tend toward cold.

The location is on Metro line 11, is two stops from Chatelet which is connected to the huge Chatelet Les Halles station where you can get to anywhere within and near Paris. One street over is a wonderful mix of shops and a few restaurants. We frequented the Franprix and the bakery for breakfast supplies and simple meals when too tired to venture out for dinner. OBAO Asian grill is fast yet good wok food, and the Parlus macarons were wonderful.

The stairs were a climb, but the one person lift is available. Louis met us to help with luggage, give us the keys, show and explain the apartment, even offered to show us the neighborhood. I had a cold and wanted rest, so we declined. He also stopped by to assist with luggage on our departure.

Overall, a great experience. We highly recommend this rental: central location, clean, comfortable, cozy yet roomy, and very friendly accommodating host.

    COMFORTABLE – BEAUTIFULLY MAINTAINED APARTMENT

The warm welcome and professional service provided by Louis and his team set this cheerful, beautifully maintained apartment near the Pompidou Center apart. The front windows open up to views of Paris rooftops and the light is lovely.

The bed in the main back bedroom is very comfortable and the sofa/ bed in the living/dining front room is as well. The living/dining room and the back bedroom are reasonably sized with some nice decorative touches. There are closets and drawers for storage, extra chairs and good lighting for reading, and a music system . The modern well-equipped kitchen allows you to cook after going to market or to stock up on flowers, freshly squeezed orange juice and classic prepared French dishes from nearby food shops if you don’t feel like cooking and want to eat in.

The location is ideal for exploring much of Paris on foot, not just the Marais, as you can walk across the various bridges to the Left Bank or north up to Square du Temple and the Canal St Martin with ease. The metro is only a block away. The neighborhood is lively at night so lots of good restaurants nearby and very safe for returning at night alone while the street itself and building is very quiet; a good night’s sleep every night, weekends and all. The tiny elevator is located one flight up and has room for one person and luggage so you will need to walk down a flight with suitcases when you leave or arrange for help from Louis. (He or a member of his team greet you and help with the suitcases upon arrival ) .

The weather was chilly during our week’s stay and the heating was great, plenty of hot water in the shower and kitchen. Bathroom has the sink and shower, small but adequate and the toilet is located next to it off the hall in a separate small room so anyone sleeping on the sofa/bed in the living room doesn’t have to walk through the bedroom in the middle of the night to access it. A heavy curtain closes off the back bedroom from the hall.

We had a fabulous time and will recommend it to friends.

    EXCELLENT POSITION

This apartment is ideal for a couple, very comfortable with all facilities. The position in the Marais is perfect for walking everywhere with metro close by.

Thank you Louis for making out stay just right.

    EXCELLENT

Excellent apartment. Perfect for two people, pretty good for four. The apartment is very clean, very practical in terms of equipment and facilities (I cooked several fairly elaborate meals, good kitchen) and artfully decorated. Some of the artwork was quite original and unique. The apartment has everything you’ll need.

Louis, as a host, is worth mentioning. Very friendly, helpful and supportive, and his brief tour of the neighborhood was a gem. It really is a great neighborhood, Thoughtful of Louis to show us its secrets.

Location is ideal. Marais is, in my opinion, the best area to stay in terms of overall feel and character. Note Dame, Louvre, Rue Rivoli, the islands, Hotel De Ville, Picasso Museum, home of Victor Hugo and more are all easily and pleasantly walkable, and the subway station is literally a few steps away toward the Pompidou Centre. Which, by the way, is almost next door. The Paris subway has to be in the running for the best in the world. So easy to get anywhere, and very inexpensive. Local stores and restaurants are ideal.

This review may seem overtly positive, but the truth is this place really is good. The only negative was the 4 flight stair climb, but for us this was not an issue. A small elevator removed luggage problems, and honestly we viewed the stairs as a good start (and end) to a healthy walking day. No issue.

    WONDERFUL ACCOMODATION in PARIS

We stayed at this apartment for 4 nights and found it to be extremely clean and well organized in a terrific location. The apartment was bright and well appointed with comfortable furnishings.

We were welcomed by Louis who was extremely friendly and helpful and provided great tips on where to find groceries, restaurants and popular tourist sites. He even personally escorted us to the street one block over to show us the best boulangeries, patisseries etc. Louis also recommended a restaurant called Le Mazenay a few blocks away and the food and service were outstanding.

We found the location very quiet, safe and quite central to many places within walking distance.

We would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Paris.

    A PERFECT PARIS APARTMENT

My husband and I recently stayed for a week in Louis’s Beaubourg apartment.

It was more spacious than we had realized (always good thing) and otherwise exactly as pictured! Pros: *Excellent location – a minute’s walk and you’re in the Marais, 30 seconds from the Metro (and 5 minutes walk to several other lines), and 30 seconds to the Centre Pompidou.

*Great location for those who like to walk to the various tourist sites, as well. *Great shopping, grocers, bakeries, etc. all nearby.

*The apartment itself is even nicer than pictured (larger than we had expected!) and incredibly well supplied with everything you could need to cook, do laundry, etc. We even found an umbrella, hair dryer, and power converter for guests use! Louis has also left very clear instructions for every appliance, etc. He is incredibly thoughtful with this.

*Louis was a great host in other ways – meeting us promptly, available to answer any questions, checking in on our stay, and giving us an absolutely great restaurant rec (Le MaZenay).

*Affordable/great price for the location. *Small elevator, should you not want to walk a few flights up. *Quiet building. Cons:

*I really can’t think of any. Thank you, Louis, for a wonderful stay! We’ll be recommending this apartment to others.

EXCELLENT PARIS APARTMENT in the MARAIS

My husband and I just got back from two weeks in the very excellent Beauborg apartment.

This was our fifth stay and we keep coming back for several reasons. First, the apartment is centrally located near a metro stop, Centre Pompideau and what may be the best shopping block in Paris.

Right around the corner from this quiet side street is the block of Rambuteau between Renard and Temple.

Everything one needs is located in that block, including bakeries, fresh produce, butcher, fish market, grocery store, cheese shop, ethnic foods, cafes, chocolates, etc. It’s a delightful place to shop and soak in the French culture. Place des Vosges, Hotel d’Ville, Musee Louvre, Palais Royale, Les Halles shopping mall, etc. are all in walking distance.

Second, the apartment itself is very comfortable, well-cared for, and large enough so that we don’t feel on top of each other.

The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Last, but not least, is the wonderful owner of the apartment, Louis.

He is the perfect host and very willing to do what he can to make our stay comfortable. We will continue to return this excellent apartment once or twice a year for many years to come.

Highly recommend for a memorable stay.

    PERFECT PARIS APARTMENT

We keep coming back to Residence Beaubourg.

The apartment is very comfortable, quiet and the location could not be better.

Steps from the Metro, around the corner from rue Rambuteau with many shops; cafes, produce, butchers, cheese, and excellent bakeries.

We enjoy shopping at the Bastille market, a short walk away and cooking most of our own meals. The kitchen is very well equipped and larger than most.

Even though we have been to Paris many times, we always discover new places in the neighborhood.

Louis is a charming and perfect host. The rental process is very easy.
